MelloFlo ("MelloFlo", "we", "our", "us") builds an AI-powered platform that helps people organise their tasks, documents, reminders and family records. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to melloflo.app and the MelloFlo apps.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, and authentication details when you create an account.
• Content you upload — tasks, notes, documents, photos, reminders and any family records you choose to store.
• Usage data — interactions with the product, device type, operating system, approximate location (from IP), and crash diagnostics.
• Communications — messages you send us via the contact form, email or support channels.

2. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies are required for the service to function. Analytics and preference cookies are only used with your consent. You can review and change your choice at any time on our Cookie Policy page.

3. Analytics

With consent, we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which features are used and where we can improve. Analytics data is aggregated and never sold.

4. Uploaded data

Anything you upload to MelloFlo belongs to you. We store it securely so we can show it back to you, sync it across your devices and (with your permission) let Mello, our AI, help you organise it. We do not sell your content and we do not use it for advertising.

5. AI processing

Mello uses AI to understand, categorise and summarise content you choose to share with it (for example, a photo of an insurance document). Where third-party AI providers are used to perform this processing, content is sent only for the purpose of fulfilling your request, is not used to train their models, and is governed by data-processing agreements that meet GDPR and CCPA standards.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual items at any time, and you can delete your entire account from settings or by emailing privacy@melloflo.app. Backups are purged within 30 days of deletion.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you have rights to access, correct, export, restrict and delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@melloflo.app. We will respond within the time required by law.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and continuous monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your trust as the product.

9. Children

MelloFlo is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
